Description
Resend is an email API for developers. You send email with one POST request, and it also covers domains, contacts, broadcasts, inboxes and automations.
It is a good fit for agents and apps that need to send reliable transactional email, such as receipts, alerts and reports, with little setup.
It is not a full marketing suite. Free sending is capped at 100 emails a day.

Editor’s note What our review found
Editorial research, reviewed 23 Oct 2026. We read Resend's pricing page and API docs. We did not run live calls. This listing is not an endorsement.
Cost: the Free plan gives 3,000 emails a month, capped at 100 a day, 3 domains and 1,000 marketing contacts. Pro starts at $20 a month for 50,000 emails. Scale starts at $90 a month. Free plans cannot go over quota. Paid plans can turn on pay-as-you-go overage.
Credentials and data: you use a bearer API key. Store it in an environment variable or secret manager, never in code or a plain-text file. Email content and recipient addresses go to Resend, so GDPR and consent rules apply to contacts.
Good to know: every request needs a User-Agent header or it gets a 403. The default limit is 10 requests a second per team. Free data retention is 30 days.
