Description
The Plausible Stats API uses one endpoint, POST /api/v2/query. You send a JSON body with a site, metrics, a date range, and optional dimensions and filters. It returns the matching numbers.
It suits agents and reports on privacy-friendly traffic data, such as visitors by country or top pages by week. Metrics include visitors, pageviews, visits, bounce rate and visit duration.
On the pricing page the Stats API shows as a Business plan feature, so lower plans do not include it. Choose it only if you already use, or will pay for, Plausible Business.

Cost: the pricing page lists Starter 9, Growth 14 and Business 19 per month. We saw these in euros (the page shows the currency for the visitor's region), at the lowest tier of up to 10k monthly pageviews. Prices rise with pageviews. Stats API is listed for Business (600 requests per hour) and Enterprise. A 30-day free trial with no credit card is offered.
Credentials and data: a Stats API key is sent as a bearer token and is scoped to one team's sites. Store it in a secret manager or environment variable, never in code or a plain-text file. The data is aggregated site analytics.
Good to know: the default limit is 600 requests per hour per key, and you can ask Plausible for more. The pricing page does not describe a self-hosted plan.
